So far the bulk of what we have seen of nouns is covered by the first (ending in -α) and second declension (ending in -ος and -ον). But Greek also has a third declension, all of which end in a consonant or -ι or -υ. These stems are divided into their respective stops by the type of consonant. To dip our toes, we will just look for now at those that end in a labial stop or a velar stop.
